FAQs
What is a Test Bed?
A Test Bed is an environment where innovators can test, validate, and refine their solutions in a real-world environment. Vodafone Boost Lab provides access to Vodafone’s 5G network, Edge Cloud, specialized tools like VR headsets, routers and others. The Test Bed allows you to run pilot projects under real conditions, helping you improve the functionality, connectivity, and scalability of your solution.
What types of innovators are you looking for?
We are looking for startups and SMEs, from any sector and solutions based upon connectivity (5G, 4G, wi-fi), edge computing, IoT, video analytics, automation, AR/VR, automation, robotics, real-time data, remote monitoring or others.
How long is the program?
The time required to design, develop, and execute a pilot can vary significantly, as there are different types of pilots with varying sizes and complexities. The pilot development period runs from February to June 2025, but this doesn’t mean that your pilot will last 5 months. In fact, some pilots can be completed in as little as 3 weeks or 2 months.

- Company details (name, website, contact information)
- A brief description of your solution
- A pitch deck or video link
- Information on the development stage of your product

Will I retain ownership of my technology?
